Sic Bo is a table game of chance which originated in ancient China. The name means "two bricks" which changed, over the years, to "dice pair". The game reached the West, specifically the U.S., with the large immigration of Chinese in the early 20th century.



Sic Bo is now played with three dice instead of the original "dice pair" and it is generally considered a rather uneven game of chance. By uneven we mean that the house odds are not always to the player's advantage.

The aim of the game Sic Bo is to guess the outcome of the totals, or combination of totals, each time the dice are rolled. Players can make multiple bets on the table. • Big Bet: total count of the three dice will fall between the numbers 11 and 17

• Totals Bet: a bet on the total count (4 to 17) of the three dice
